Nora Lane Uploader — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Nora Lane Uploader, operated by Haitao Sun, handles information when uploading videos to the operator’s authorized YouTube channel.
Information handled by the tool
The tool handles:
- Google OAuth access and refresh tokens issued after the channel owner authorizes access.
- The authorized YouTube channel identifier and information needed to confirm the destination channel.
- Submitted video files, titles, descriptions, and upload settings.
- Upload job identifiers, file sizes, file hashes, processing results, video identifiers, and error logs.
The tool does not request or store the channel owner’s Google password. It is not designed to collect viewer profiles, comments, or analytics.
How information is used
Information is used to authenticate authorized requests, upload videos to the selected channel, check upload and processing status, prevent duplicate uploads, and investigate failures.
Google and YouTube data are not used for advertising, sold, or used to train AI or machine learning models. Any AI-generated video content is created separately from the Google authorization credentials.
Storage and retention
OAuth credentials are stored on the operator’s server and retained while needed for authorized operation. They can be removed when access is discontinued.
The uploader is configured to delete its received video copy after successful processing confirmation. Failed or uncertain uploads may be retained for troubleshooting until the operator resolves the issue or deletes them.
Separate working copies, downloadable deliverables, and quality-check records may remain in the operator’s content workflow until manually deleted.
Upload metadata and operational logs may be retained for troubleshooting and duplicate prevention. Credentials are not intentionally included in public pages or upload descriptions.
Sharing and service providers
Video files and their publication metadata are transmitted to Google and YouTube to perform the requested upload. Publicly published videos, titles, and descriptions are visible according to their YouTube visibility settings.
The workflow also uses server hosting and content preparation services. Relevant information may be processed by those services as needed to operate the workflow. OAuth credentials are intended to remain within the authorization and upload components.
The operator does not sell Google user data or share it with advertisers. Human access is limited to operation, support, troubleshooting, legal requirements, and security needs.
Security
The operator takes reasonable steps to protect authorization credentials and restrict access to the upload service. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Revoking access and requesting deletion
The channel owner can revoke access at:
Revoking access prevents future authorized API use, but does not automatically delete videos already uploaded to YouTube. Those videos can be managed in YouTube Studio.
To request deletion of locally retained credentials, upload files, or operational records, contact sunhaitao820@gmail.com. Retained records will be removed unless they are necessary to meet a legal obligation or resolve a security issue.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Nora Lane Uploader’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
